Sandal Season.

Shoe's are definitely one of my weaknesses!! If I had all the money in the world, I would definitely need one big shoe closet! I LOVE shoes! And this year I love the sandals!!
My bestie and I went to the Nordstrom half yearly sale yesterday and we couldn't get out of the shoe department. The sandals are incredible this season! I got myself a fun new pair, but let me tell you it was hard to decide which pair I needed the most. I love how the designers have recreated ankle boots into a more summery look with an open heal or peaking toe, And I love all the straps and chunky heals! I'm seriously obsessed!

Memorial Day Weekend.

Memorial Day weekend was so nice! We had lots of fun and got a lot accomplished! We had a relaxing BBQ with family on sunday and then monday we got things done! Chase never works Saturday and I work most every Saturday, so finding time to accomplish things together almost never happens! We talk about what we want to do but we never really get around to it since we never have the time together! This made having Monday off together really nice and really productive! 
We gutted the master bedroom and got it ready for paint, moldings and carpet! Im ready to complete one area! I think Chase and I both are ready to have the satisfaction of one area of the house being complete! Were getting a little tired of having wholes in the walls! About a fourth of our house is completely torn to pieces, some of it's down to the frame! We've got all the tile and paint picked out and we're just about ready to start putting it all back together! Im so excited!

Skinny Banana Cookies + Coconut Crack Bars

The key to staying away from sugar is to have treats laying around the kitchen that taste like sugar, but aren't. You see what I did there! HA! Yesterday I made Coconut Crack Bars and Skinny Banana Cookies to have in the house for when I get a sweet tooth! Both are delicious and easy! So easy!
Skinny Banana Cookies
  • 4 ripe bananas, mashed 
  • 2cups of uncooked Old Fashion Oats 
  • 1/2cup of Chocolate Chips 
Preheat the oven to 350 degree's. Spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray. Mix the mashed bananas and oats in a bowl. Fold in the chocolate chips. Using a spoon, scoop up the batter and place on the cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Coconut Crack Bars 
  • 1cup shredded coconut (unsweetened) 
  • 1/4 cup agave 
  • 2 tbsp virgin coconut oil 
  • 1/3 tsp pure vanilla extract 
  • 1/8 tsp salt 
Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Press into any small pan or container and refrigerate for an hour. (or freeze for 15 min) Keep refrigerated.

New Hair.

Platinum blonde 

This took two processes and somewhere around eight hours. Don't be annoyed with your hair dresser if it takes some time to get you blonde! Its not that easy! And that's coming from someone who has naturally light hair! 
I think this will be such a fun color for the summer! It's so bold that I feel like I could reinvent myself to someone totally new! I guess thats the best part about being able to change your hair! I love it! :)

Arms + Inner Thigh Workout

Today I did three ten minute workouts. Starting with my warm up, moving to my inner thighs and finishing with arms. 
I love the warm up from my Insanity workout. It gets you feeling warm and in the mood to workout because its so fast pace and intense. I literally go from not wanting to move to feeling pumped and ready to working out for an hour! Turn on some fun, loud, fast pace music to get you moving during this warm up! 
Warm up
  1. Jog (in place)
  2. Jumping Jacks 
  3. Heisman
  4. 123 Heisman (same as number three only with three small steps in between)  
  5. Butt Kicks (in place)
  6. High Knees (in place)
  7. Mummy Kicks 
Each move is done for 30 seconds and the whole set is repeated 3 times. (Download an interval timing app, I have this one.) 
Each set you move faster and faster. First set is slow to get your body and muscles moving. Second set is medium speed, your body and muscles should start to feel warm. Last set is as fast as you can go, you should begin to sweat! 
Inner Thigh Workout 
  1. Under the fence 
  2. Scissor Jack 
  3. Gate Swing 
  4. Wide Sumo Squat hop
  5. Lateral Lunges 
  6. Plank Jack 
  7. Windshield Wipper 
  8. Palm Press
  9. Frog Press
  10. Palm Press 
  11. Scissor
  12. Palm Press 
  13. Narrow Bridge 
Here's the VIDEO of all these moves. I found that while doing most all of these moves, my inner thighs would burn the most if I got down really low during the squats. 

Arm workout 
  1. Need 5 and 3 pound dumb bells 
  2. Arm curls- tones biceps and helps with posture 
  3. Triceps extentions 
  4. French Press

My New Summer Hair... to be

Tomorrow it's finally my turn to get my hair done, and as always it's long over due. Hair dressers tend to take care of everyone else's hair before they ever think about their own! I rarely even brush my hair! So when hair day for ourselves comes around it tends to be very very exciting! Sitting in the chair, instead of standing behind it. Getting your hair washed, instead of washing hair. Having your hair blow dried, instead of blow drying. HEAVENLY! 
Im ready for a color change! I've been letting my natural come in for about a year and half now and Im getting bored of it! So I'm going blonde, platinumy blonde!

Window Wants + Workout

Swim suit season here we come! 
Wildfox is killing it with their suits this year! I love way to many! And the new trend is this Triangl brand! It's pretty saucy and I like it! I love love that one pieces are in! And there are so many cute one's to choose from!
Were going on a Caribbean cruise this summer and like always I want to feel and look my best! So i've literally been working out every day but sunday! Im starting to feel amazing, and hopefully looking amazing will follow! So not only is this post all about swim suits but also about get fit and feeling great! Bellow is a really awesome arm workout for us ladies! I did it last week and I was so sore the next day! Eat clean and train mean, That my motto for the next two months!
